Mont Marte Premium Clear Texture Gesso 250ml

For artists who want texture without losing the surface underneath, this clear texture gesso lets raised brush and knife marks show through transparent or lightly tinted layers instead of hiding under an opaque white base. It’s built on the same premium Mont Marte formula as their standard gesso but dries translucent, so collage papers, pencil work, or underlying colour stay visible through the texture. Use it to prime canvas for mixed-media pieces, build subtle relief under watercolour or ink, or add tactile detail to craft surfaces. Best kept for pieces where you want structure to read as texture, not as a solid white layer.
