Marabu Crackle Medium 250ml

Crackle medium creates the deliberately aged, cracked-paint effect you see on distressed furniture, decorative crafts, and mixed-media art — without waiting years for real weathering. Apply Marabu’s crackle medium between two layers of acrylic paint, or between a base coat and a top coat in a contrasting colour; as it dries, it splits the top layer into fine, natural-looking cracks that reveal the base colour underneath.
